A wonderful place to get married - tucked by the Yarra, the water gives a calm rhythm to any wedding. The soft light filtering through the trees really sets the mood for a beautiful day. One of my favourite places to photograph as a wedding photographer in Melbourne. Can't wait to be back!

Visited in Nov 2025 Dropped by for lunch here after our small hike/walk around the Yarra Bend area. Ordered the Steak Sandwich and the Fish and Chips. Food was good and service was fast/efficient. All in all, a decent place to stop by for a quick or relaxing meal if you’re hiking or taking a stroll in the area.

We had a great time here. The food was very fresh and deliciously cooked. The service was good and the staff very friendly. The venue is situated on and has a great view of the river Yarra. They also hire out kayaks, canoes and rowboats.

Such a peaceful and natural environment! The cafΓ© is surrounded by trees and the river, making it a perfect spot to unwind. It’s a self-service system, you order at the front desk, get a buzzer, and pick up your food when it’s ready. There are plenty of spots to sit, two floors with lots of outdoor areas where you can enjoy the view. You’ll see people rowing, biking, and strolling along the riverbank, which adds to the relaxing vibe. You can also spot many birds. Highly recommend for a weekend brunch or a quiet coffee by the water.

Lovely outdoor spot. Very nice location by the river, perfect for a relaxed day out. Had the scones and brownie - both good. The long black was more on the average side. Food options are decent overall, enough to keep you satisfied while enjoying the setting. Can get quite busy during peak periods, so worth timing your visit. Overall, a great experience that gets you outdoors and makes for a refreshing change of pace.

A very pleasantly unexpected find on my walk - so glad I came here! It’s amazing! Lovely atmosphere, delicious beetroot juice - sadly they do not do coeliac safe gluten free options, hence the 4 stars. Pleasant staff and I would recommend! You can even boat here! So cool!
